Apply data selection for data extracts.

Selection

Alias

Select a column to apply data selection to.

Operator

Choose a selection operator from the list.
  • = - Equal to the value
  • != - Not equal to the value
  • > - Greater than the value
  • < - Less than the value
  • >= - Greater than or equal to the value
  • <= - Less than or equal to the value
  • LIKE - Like the value, use % as a wildcard
  • IN - In the list of values
  • NOT_IN - Not In the list of values
  • BETWEEN - Between the two values
  • NOT_BETWEEN - Not Between the two values
  • Value

    Specify the value to compare the column to. For the IN, NOT_IN, BETWEEN and NOT_BETWEEN operators this field will be disabled and the , or - button to the right should be used. Dates must be entered in the local format.

    The , button will be enabled when the IN or NOT_IN operator has been selected. The - button will be enabled when the BETWEEN or NOT_BETWEEN operator has been selected. Pressing the , or - button will launch the following window. The IN operator will allow any number of values while the between operator will only allow two values.
    In Between

    Add

    Adds the current alias, operator and value to the data selection.

    Change

    Updates the selected data selection from the alias, operator and value.

    Remove

    Removes the selected data selection.

    And

    If selected and adding or changing a data selection the new/changed selection will be added with an And.

    Or

    If selected and adding or changing a data selection the new/changed selection will be added with an Or.

    Move Up

    Move the current line up.

    Move Down

    Move the current line down.

    Save

    Save the current data selection into a .ows (OW Info data selection) file. The current object is stored in the save file.

    Load

    Load a previously saved .ows (OW Info data selection) file. The current object must match the object in the save file.

    Reset

    Clear the current selections and select all columns for output

    Output Columns

    Determines the columns to be output, if no columns are selected all columns will be output.

    Select all

    Selects all output columns.

    Deselect all

    Deselects all output columns.

    OK

    Applies the data selection and selected output columns to subsequent data retrievals.

    Cancel

    Clears any data select and selected column output.
